Poppy Day or Remembrance Day is on November 11. It is a special day to remember all those men and women who were killed during the two World Wars and other conflicts.
The Poppy is the symbol of remembrance so lots of people buy and wear artificial poppies.

We call this day - Independence Day. People lay flowers on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and there are lots of public ceremonies all over the country.
